Arts & Crafts Hobby Shop

From woodworking to sewing classes, birthday parties to pottery, the Arts & Crafts Hobby Shop at Camp Pendleton offers customers a wide variety of fun and exciting activities for all ages and abilities.

This unique facility offers all ages of active duty personnel, their families, retirees and authorized customers the opportunity to be creative.

Drop-In Activities – no appointment necessary

• Paint-Your-Own Ceramics Studio – $6 per person – unlimited use of paint, along with firing and glazing. Ceramic pieces range from $5-$30. Fire/glazing 3-5 business days. Over 500 blank ceramics to paint, a paint station with 90 colors, stamps, stencils, idea books and clay too. Staff available to assist. No experience necessary and no age limit.
• Beginning Guitar Lessons
• Pottery Wheels $3 per wheel/day
• Clay Handbuilding Studio $3 per day
• Computer Lab – Free

Self-Service Woodshop

Woodworking and picture framing - $5 per day. Lumber can be purchased on-site. Create anything from plaques to shadow boxes and furniture. A woodshop attendant is on-hand to answer any questions and assist with projects. Over 1,000 plans are available to trigger creativity.

Parties & Groups

Birthday parties, baby showers or even a girl’s night out can be scheduled anytime during regular business hours.
