Fitness

The Camp Pendleton Fitness Department is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles to authorized patrons aboard the base. The professionally trained staff provides a wide variety of programs and services. The Semper Fit Paige Fieldhouse is one of the largest in the Marine Corps. There are 13 fitness centers on base, each offering it’s own program and targeting specific needs.
Facilities
14 Area Fitness Center - Facility will close from Fri, Apr 27-Sun, May 21 for locker demolition and replacement. 14 Area High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) Center will open May 14, operating hours 6am-6pm. 21 Area Fitness Center - The basketball court is closed from May 14-Sep 1, 2012, for demolition and installation of a new floor. For you have any questions or concerns, contact (760) 725-2951.
53 Area Fitness Center - The new location is now open! Check out this state-of-the-art facility in Camp Horno, bldg 530301, (760) 725-7075.

On-Going - The fitness Centers host a variety of events throughout the year including Group "X" excise, Massage Therapy, Pendleton Cup Events, Cholesterol Testing, Combat Fitness Training, Functional Fitness Training Areas, Personal Training, Health Expos, Injury Prevention Clinics and Recreational Sports Competitions.
Services
Group Exercise Classes
Free at selected Fitness Centers. Gut Cut, Survival Cycle, Cardio Kickbox, Combat Fitness Training, Forever Fit, Zumba Warrior Training and Yoga.
Special unit PTs available upon request.
Martial arts training from experienced Black Belt instructors. Classes include Submission Grappling and Tae Kwon Do.

Massage Therapy
Methods include: Swedish, Passive Joint, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy and Shiatsu. Hot Stone available for an additional fee. Call (760) 763-4070.
Combat Fitness Training
There are several programs and resources to assist active duty personnel, and/or their unit to physically prepare for CFT requirements at Camp Pendleton, including unit specialized combat training classes. Combat Training Web Page
Personal Training
Certified Personal Trainers conduct fitness assessments, body fat analysis, nutrition consultations and more. They can assist with improving PFT scores, CFT training, learning proper lifting and functional fitness techniques, or personalized training.

Return to Readiness
A post-injury fitness program for active duty personnel. This service is in cooperation with the Naval Musculoskeletal Services aboard the base (760) 763-0657
Health Promotion
The Paige Fieldhouse and 53 Area Fitness Center each have a Health Promotion Center. A one-stop shop for health resources, Programs include cholesterol testing, health risk assessments, nutrition counseling, smoking cessation programs, blood pressure screening, resting metabolic rate testing, fitness information and more. You vs. Yourself
Perform, Energize & Keep Fit! Ready to climb to the PEAK? Trying to lose weight? Gain muscle? Stop smoking? Improve fitness scores? Set a lifestyle goal with a personal trainer and receive prizes for reaching that goal. Call (760) 763-0657.
500 Mile Club
Start running or improve running time. Gives an edge to Physical Fitness Test (PFT)/Physical Readiness Test (PRT). Run each week, log miles, and report them to the local Fitness Center Manager. Win great prizes. Start this program anytime. Call (760) 763-0657.
Gym Rat Program

Dawg Pound Club Program
