The Lake O'Neill peninsula is available for large group activities like promotions, retirements and wedding receptions. This area has picnic cabanas, BBQ grills, a stage, electrical power and athletic facilities.

The Lake O'Neill Campgrounds offer campsites with water, electricity, sewer hookups and tent camping.
Fishing is permitted year-round (the lake is stocked and bait is sold at both facility offices.

Beach Cottages

One of the nicest things about a tour of duty at Camp Pendleton is the Pacific Ocean. Del Mar Beach, at the southern end of the base, and San Onofre beach on the northern end offer miles of magnificent surf in the heart of Southern California. Cottages and campsites with electrical hook ups are available to rent by sponsors and spouses only at both beaches. The cottages have one to three bedrooms, all have kitchens and TV's and many have fire rings. Each beach has a bath house and lifeguards are on duty year-round.

Inns of the Corps - Ward Lodging

Ward Lodging located at Bldg 1310 offers short-term housing for all authorized guests. Our mission is to provide every guest with affordable, clean, comfortable and well-appointed accommodations. The lodge features 88 rooms, 52 standard rooms and 36 with kitchenettes. The lodge offers rooms with king and queen beds, private baths, TVs, DVD players, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards and coffee makers. A voice mail system and internet access are provided in each room. Other amenities include cribs and rollaway beds, a laundry facility, movie rentals, a continental breakfast, snacks, a playground, and a fountain surrounded by outdoor seating and tables.

To guarantee your reservation, the first night’s rent must be received no later than two days prior to the start of reservation.

All authorized patrons may use this facility, but Active Duty Military with PCS orders have first priority for reservations.

LOCATION
The lodge is 15 miles from the main gate located near Camp Pendleton's mainside area. The 13 Area Swimming Pool (open Summer) is adjacent to the lodge and the Marine Corps Exchange, Bowling Entertainment Center, Base Training Center (Free movies), Ticket Office and Fitness Center are within walking distance. Snack bars and convenience food are also nearby at Domino’s Pizza, Jack-in-the-Box, Subway, Starbucks Coffee, the Bowling Center and the Country Store.
